Even the dumbest people in the World have to know that Governments everywhere have corruption, and some of the law makers are always stealing the public's money. That's why many people run for public office. The building spree in Spain, allowed billions of Euros to be spent, on ridiculous projects, some by companies, and some by the Government. Whenever that much money is being shuffeld around, there seems to always be some clever politician who comes up with a scheme to rake some profit off for him/her self. In almost all Governments, there are very few, if any, investigations of political members of Government. Until we have a method, and a will to use it, for monitoring the bank accounts of Politicians, it will continue, in spite of the unenforced laws. Does it not appear strange, that when politicians get first elected, they have small bank accounts, and after 4 years in office, they are suddenly millionaires? They certainly do not get paid that amount in such a short time.
