In recent weeks, a solution to Turkey's long-running conflict with Kurdish separatists seemed near. But after three Kurdish activists were found murdered in Paris on Thursday, peace talks could now be in jeopardy.

Do I feel bad about deaths of militants who rebelled against their country and involved in activities that cost the lives of other human beings in the name of freedom? Absolutely not. Can you imagine Al Qaida having an office in Paris ? Then how come PKK has one? Ad it's getting special support from French government for decades while innocent teachers and civilians are being killed by PKK in Turkey.
Am I surprised to see the awe and agony of the French government to the killings ? Absolutely not. France under the direct order of its socialist President committed terrorist act of planting bomb to Greenpeace's Rainbow Warrior, killing a Spanish journalist in 80s and admitted it. Would French government be so protective and agonized over the lives of Islamic terrorists who killed innocent Jewish children in France. Of course not. And it should not. Terrorism is terrorism no matter who the victims are and where it takes place. So what is the double standard by France for? Is France supporting the PKK terrorism in Turkey indirectly? Recent open hostility of France against Turkey, its stand against Turkish EU membership are clear evidence that France is practicing active animosity towards Turkey. |
