I worked at a Tmobile call center once upon a time. It was the most dreary, soul-crushing work environment I've ever experienced--even compared to other call centers. I left after only a few months because I felt the employees were being treated like children (or worse). I realized $10/hour or whatever it was they were paying wasn't worth my self-respect being destroyed. Thankfully I've moved up in the world since then. Anyway, this article surprises me not a wit.
