Default Not only in Germany!!!

"Fundamentals Right of the European Union

Article 3
Right to the integrity of the person
1. Everyone has the right to respect for his or her physical and mental integrity.
2. In the fields of medicine and biology, the following must be respected in particular:
—the free and informed consent of the person concerned, according to the procedures laid down by law,
—the prohibition of eugenic practices, in particular those aiming at the selection of persons,— the prohibition on making the human body and its parts as such a source of financial gain,— the prohibition of the reproductive cloning of human beings.
Article 4
Prohibition of torture and inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment. No one shall be subjected to torture or to inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment."

This means, that no person has the right to violate anybody for whatever reason, not even Religion.

Let everybody decide, when they are at their legal age, if they would like to join a religious group and/or if they want to be circumcised, baptized, or whatever what else.

It is a shameful farce for the Jewish and Muslim groups, as they do not respect the European Charter, nor they have any respect for the physical integrity of children.

Default Religion before Human-rights?

Far from being regarded as shameful, this court ruling should be an example for all civilised countries! A child, unable to defend itself, or protest verbally, is subject to a bodily injury which cannot be reversed, and that by the very people who should protect this young person from harm. The claim, that this is a religious act cannot be in any way valid. The child has no choice and cannot say which religion it may wish to have. Were God to wish that Children should be born without such skin, the almighty-powerful would not provide them with it.
The habit started at a time and within countries in which personal hygiene was not at the current level and its intention, was to reduce the probability of communicative deceases, during later sexual activities. In the Europe of today, such hygiene is part of everyday life, wherewith, apart from cases of deformation or illness, circumcision has lost any medical value it once had.
By protesting, the Muslim and Jewish groups have shown their unwillingness to full integration. It would be no problem whatsoever, to wait until the young males are old enough to choose for themselves, whether they wish to accept this mutilation to their own body, for the sake of their religion.
The German government would do well to continue to observe the rights of those unable to speak for themselves, rather than to allow the country to be blackmailed by such religious groups.

Default Shameful Farce for one judge

I do not blame Germany for one judge's ruling in Köln. I have no doubt that Germany will correct the decision and fully protect religious rights of all.

Default Murder, by little cuts or bombs

These are the Jews of Zionism, fascist through and through and like Hitlers Arianism, claiming brutality as a means of maintaining their religious purity.

At the same time the issue of circumcision has historical connections with Islam, the Jews and Islamics after all being the same peoples, no matter today's Zionist nationalism.

But the center of this issue is the use of religion to justify primitive brutality as with Islamic circumcision of women which has in recent times generated strong opposition from women.

This issue of circumcision is just another expression of primitive religion trying to old over into modern times just as, for instance, the Roman Catholic Church opposes women's rights to control their personal biology.

At any rate any scientific examination of these issues must recognize that their base lies in class control of workers. Although the decision of the German State is no doubt reflective of antisemitism for the working class, German, Jewish or Zionist, or Islamic, science should b the only basis for such issues.

Science, Marxist science, clearly shows these issues are coming forward at this time, when the European states are facing working class revolutions as the result of attempting to make the working class pay for the capitalist crisis, and calls for the rejection of religious nonsense in its entirety and the application of revolutionary science to overturn the bourgeois state, clean house of the churches, and expropriate the banks and industry in the interest of production for need and not for profit.

Default Nonsense

The objective reality is that a free and democratic and civilized society may decide that genital mutilation is a form of un-acceptable arbitrary child abuse. I personally loathe these weird cults applying clitodeoctomy, or the dangerous (health complications one in seventy!) mutilation of infant penises by old rabbi.

We are all so blinded by the sheer grotesquerie of this stone age abuse we have come to tolerate it as normal. Well I applause Germany for letting sanity become victorious. This form of child abuse should be punished severely.

SOME commentors, maybe. Many applaud the ruling.

WHAT consequences? Families travelling to secure forced genital cutting services? "Back-alley" procedures?

Why were these concerns insufficient when it was time to outlaw female genital cutting?

The German basic law demands equal protection for all genders. She may not even be poked wth a pin. Why should he be held down and mutilated?

Germany is subject to the European Convention on Human Rights (1950), (http://www.hri.org/docs/ECHR50.html) which provides:

ARTICLE 9

1. Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief, in worship, teaching, practice and observance.

2. Freedom to manifest one's religion or beliefs shall be subject only to such limitations as are prescribed by law and are necessary in a democratic society in the interests of public safety, for the protection of public order, health or morals, or the protection of the rights and freedoms of others.

The second section limits parental rights to circumcise. On the other hand, the first section protects boys' right to decide for themselves about religion and genital cutting and amputation of a body part.

Default Nobody should be forced into a religious organisation

The written German Constitution, the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, all have clauses which, if taken seriously, forbid such actions against children, with the exception of a medical necessity.
